About the 509 Bride
FIRST OF ALL, WELCOME! I’M SO GLAD TO HAVE YOU HERE. WHETHER YOU’RE A BRIDE, VENDOR, OR LOVER OF THE MAGIC OF WEDDINGS, COME AND STAY AWHILE--ALL ARE WELCOME.
Hello everyone, I’m Jordan De Groot (Jordan Edens Photography). The 509 Bride came about from my own experience as both a bride and photographer. From 2015-2016, I was living out of state, engaged, and diligently scouring the internet to find Tri-Cities vendors for my day. I couldn’t find a central Tri-Cities directory or really any easily accessible means of finding information. This reality added significant stress to the planning process.
Fast forward to October 2016--After wrapping up a successful Midwest photography business, I relocated to the Tri-Cities and began seeking out ways to establish my business in the local market. I began making connections, and found that the Tri-Cities bridal market was plentiful--there was simply no central directory for vendors to join, and for brides to use as a guide.
Thus the inception of the 509 Bride. My mission is to inspire and provide information for the Tri-Cities bride; The 509 Bride will create community, and celebrate the opportunity we have as vendors to serve our local brides in a bigger and better way.
how will 509 Bride work?
We aim to provide a centralized web presence to the Tri-Cities and surrounding area bridal market (Prosser, Sunnyside, Walla Walla). To that end, the 509 Bride website is set up as a vendor directory, which will include different categories for easy research. (If you are an area vendor and are interested in being added to our directory, please head here). Since our start, we have grown to over 130 vendors, launched into an elevated vendor experience, and have significantly grown our followers. Our hearts do a little happy dance every time a vendor or bride lets us know that they connected with their vendors via the 509 Bride!
All information found on the 509 Bride website and social media platforms is deemed reliable and provided for information purposes only. The 509 Bride requires all vendors be fully licensed and in good standing with the Tri-Cities bridal community. The 509 Bride acts as a neutral advertising entity making no recommendation.
